AC Gas Filling in Delhi — Leak Fixed First, Gas Refilled Right, Cooling Restored Today
Your AC is running. The
fan is spinning. The compressor is on. But the room will simply not get cool —
no matter how long you wait or how low you set the temperature. This is not a
mystery. This is almost always low refrigerant gas.
And here is the part
that most Delhi AC technicians never tell you — gas does not get consumed
during cooling. It circulates continuously inside a sealed system. If your gas
is low, there is a leak. Refilling without fixing the leak means your gas is
gone again in 2 to 4 weeks. You pay again. Nothing changes. The leak was never
addressed.
RPS Home Services does
it the correct way. We locate the leak using a nitrogen pressure test. We
repair it completely. We confirm the fix holds under pressure. And only then do
we refill your gas. One visit. Permanent fix. Cooling that lasts years —
not weeks.

AC Not Cooling? These Are the Signs Your
Gas Is Low
Not sure if your AC has
a gas problem or a different fault? Find your exact symptom in the table below
— and know instantly what you are dealing with before you call anyone:
If any of these symptoms
match your AC — do not delay. Low gas forces your compressor to work far harder
than it was designed to. Left untreated, this accelerates compressor wear and
can turn a simple gas refill into a far more expensive compressor replacement.
The Gas Refill Truth That Most Delhi Technicians Never
Tell You
Here is something that
will save you money every single summer — and that most Delhi AC technicians
never explain because understanding it would reduce their repeat service calls.
Your AC’s refrigerant
circuit is a completely sealed system. Gas does not get consumed during the
cooling process — it circulates continuously inside a closed copper loop,
absorbing heat indoors and releasing it outside. Under normal conditions with
no damage, no corrosion, and no faulty connections — your AC gas should last
between 10 and 15 years without ever needing a top up.
This means: if your AC needs a gas refill, there is a leak
in the system. Always. No
exceptions. A pinhole in a copper pipe. A loose flare nut. A corroded joint. A
faulty valve. The gas is escaping — and refilling the gas without sealing the
escape point is exactly like filling a punctured tyre with air and expecting
the problem to be solved.
The gas leaks out again
within 2 to 6 weeks. Your AC stops cooling. You call again. You pay again. The
same technician refills the gas again. The cycle repeats every season — and
nobody ever tells you that the leak was the actual problem that needed to be
fixed.
The RPS 4-Step Permanent Fix — Done
Right the First Time
Step 1 — Nitrogen Pressure Test to
Find the Leak
We pump nitrogen gas
into your refrigerant circuit under controlled pressure and monitor the gauge
reading over time. Any pressure drop confirms a leak exists and helps our
technician isolate the exact location in the circuit — whether at a pipe joint,
valve, or copper fitting.
Step 2 — Leak Point Repaired
Completely
Once the leak point is
located, we repair it using the correct materials and technique — brazing
copper joints where needed, replacing faulty valves, re-tightening flare
connections, or replacing damaged pipe sections. The repair is done to last —
not patched to hold for a few weeks.
Step 3 — Second Pressure Test to
Confirm the Fix
After the repair, we
pressure test the circuit again with nitrogen. The system must hold pressure
with a zero gauge drop over a timed period before we proceed to gas refilling.
If it drops — we find the remaining leak and fix it. Gas refilling only begins
when the circuit is confirmed fully sealed.
Step 4 — Gas Refilled to Exact
Manufacturer Specification
With a confirmed sealed
circuit, we connect the appropriate gas cylinder — R22, R32, or R410A — and
refill to the exact operating pressure specified by your AC manufacturer for
your specific model and tonnage. Not approximate. Not until the gauge ’looks
about right’. Exact.
R22, R32 or R410A — Which Gas Does Your AC
Need? We Refill All Three
Different ACs use
different refrigerant gas types — and using the wrong gas, or mixing gas types
from different cylinders, can permanently damage your compressor. Our
technicians confirm your exact gas type from the manufacturer label on your
outdoor unit before any refilling begins:
R22 Gas Filling in Delhi
R22 is the older
refrigerant found in ACs manufactured before approximately 2015. It is being
phased out globally due to ozone-depleting properties. R22 is still available
in Delhi but supply is reducing each year — making it more expensive than
modern alternatives. If your AC uses R22, our technician will confirm this from
your unit’s nameplate and advise you honestly on current pricing before
proceeding.
R32 Gas Filling in Delhi
R32 is the current
standard refrigerant used in most modern split and inverter ACs sold in India
from 2015 onwards — including models from LG, Samsung, Voltas, Lloyd, and
Daikin. R32 is more efficient and more eco-friendly than R22. It also requires
specific manifold gauges for correct pressure measurement — equipment that many
Delhi technicians do not carry. Our team is fully equipped and trained for R32
systems.
R410A Gas Filling in Delhi
R410A is used in many
premium and commercial AC models — including specific Daikin, Carrier, Hitachi,
and Blue Star units. It operates at significantly higher pressures than R22 or
R32 and requires precision equipment for safe and accurate refilling. Incorrect
pressure filling for R410A systems can overload and damage the compressor. Our
calibrated gauges ensure exact pressure fills every time.
AC Gas Filling Charges in Delhi — Transparent Upto Pricing
All AC gas filling
charges at RPS Home Services are shown as Upto amounts. Your actual cost
depends on your AC tonnage, gas type, and whether a leak repair is required —
and will be confirmed by written estimate after diagnosis. Final cost is always
equal to or lower than the Upto price shown:
